Delegation from ROC MONDRIAAN School of the Netherlands Visited Our College

On March 28, 2019, Mr. Fred Klingeman, head of International Cooperation Office of ROC MONDRIAAN School of the Netherlands, and MS. Ilona Hoving, head of nursing department, were invited to visit our college. Wu Lirong, vice president of the college, warmly received the delegation. Gu Shuqin, deputy director of the Foreign Affairs Office, Pu Liping, deputy director of the Academic Affairs Office, and Zhuang Qianling, vice president of the Nursing Department attended the reception.

The two sides first held friendly and in-depth talks in conference room 223 of the administrative building, reached an agreement on the long-term and short-term exchanges between teachers and students of the two colleges in nursing, pharmacy, clinical medicine and other majors, and planned to continue to promote the exchange of visits and learning between teachers and students of the two sides this year. Later, the delegation also visited the nursing training center. They were deeply impressed by the scale, facilities and management concept of the center.

Then, the delegation went to Suzhou Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine. They got to know the inheritance and development history of Wumen medical school and the development of traditional Chinese medicine. They visited acupuncture, massage and characteristic clinics of traditional Chinese medicine, experienced acupuncture and massage technology, and showed a strong interest in traditional Chinese medicine.

Since the formal exchange between ROC MONDRIAAN school of the Netherlands and our college in 2015, the two sides have organized regular visits of exchange students and teachers every year, and carried out academic lectures and demonstration teaching in nursing and other majors. The college will take this as a platform to further accelerate and deepen academic exchanges with vocational colleges in the Netherlands, effectively expand the international vision of teachers and students, improve the ability of cross-cultural communication, and continuously promote the internationalization process of related medical majors of the college.
