Suzhou Vocational Health College Signed a Contract With COGNOS International, Germany
On the morning of May 16th, at the invitation of SZVHC, Dr. Matthias Afting, president of COGNOS International, led a delegation of four people to our school. President Luo Xiaoqing and relevant department heads of the school warmly welcomed the delegation members.
The signing ceremony between SZVHC and COGNOS International was held in Conference Room 223 of Renhe Building on Shihu Campus. President Luo Xiaoqing delivered a welcome speech, introducing the overall situation of the college including its history, departments and specialties, international exchange, and cooperation with Germany. Dr. Afting explained the development, operation, and focus of COGNOS International.
Both sides expressed positive intention to cooperate and reached an agreement on follow-up professional teacher training, student academic qualification upgradation, and promotion and exchange of traditional Chinese medicine culture, hoping to build up an exemplary project of Sino-German international cooperation in vocational education through the joint efforts of both sides. At the meeting, both sides signed The Strategic Cooperation Implementation Agreement and exchanged gifts.
Afterwards, the delegation visited the Clinical Medicine Department.
To create a good atmosphere for international development, build and improve international cooperation and exchange system, accelerating and strengthening talent training, teaching resources, faculty construction, scientific research, internationalization construction of cultural communication is one of the key tasks of the "14th Five-Year Plan" and "Double-high Plan" construction of the college. The college will rely on cooperation projects with COGNOS International and learn from the advanced experience of German vocational education in order to jointly build a Sino-German international talent training base to promote all-round, wide-ranging, and multi-level international cooperation and exchanges.
