Good News! Our School's Teachers and Students Achieve Excellent Results in the National Operating Skills Exhibition of Dental Medical Technology for Health Vocational Colleges

Recently, the 2024 National Operating Skills Exhibition of Dental Medical Technology for Health Vocational Colleges, hosted by the Sub-committee of Dental Medical Education Management for Vocational Colleges of the Chinese Stomatological Association, was held at Baicheng Medical College in Baicheng City, Jilin Province. Lv Junfeng, deputy director of the Industry Guidance Committee for Health Vocational Education in Jiangsu Province, Zhu Peng, Director of the School of Dental Medicine, and Zhu Ye, Deputy Director of the School of Dental Medicine, along with representatives of teachers also attended the exhibition.

The exhibition, themed "Digitalization Boosting the High-Quality Development of Stomatological Vocational Education," invited numerous undergraduate and vocational college education experts in dental medicine and dental medical technology to jointly explore the advancement of digital reform in the field of Stomatology. Zhu Ye delivered a report titled "Cultivation Path for Integrated Medical-Technical Talents under the College-Hospital Model" at the National Oral Vocational Education Symposium, sparking extensive reflections and heated discussions among the participants.

During the skills demonstration session, our school's teachers and students won the first prize for the team with their solid professional knowledge and excellent operational skills. Student Zhao Fengdi won the individual first prize in the intra-oral digital impression taking and digital fixed bridge restoration design demonstration. Student Pan Xiaoer won the first prize for individuals in the cavity preparation and bilayer full-ceramic crown preparation demonstration. Student Yan Rong won the second prize in the dental carving and complete denture arrangement demonstration. The teacher team also performed impressively, with teachers Liu Ran, Xu Chen, and Zhang Yu achieving excellent results in their respective demonstration projects.

These honors not only demonstrate the high teaching quality of our school's stomatology and stomatological technology majors, but also provides a valuable opportunity for students to prove themselves and polish their skills.
