Communication for Promotion and Mutual Learning for Advancement —— A Delegation of Teachers in Our College Visited Germany for Exchange Study
To further pursue international approaches to vocational education, learn from advanced international education modes, and better push forward the international cooperation of our college, a delegation of our teachers, invited by Cognos International Gmbh in Germany, paid visits to Frankfurt and Cologne for a two-week exchange training session, from 18 August to 31 August.

Fresenius International Education Group, one of the largest private independent education institutes, has trained 12,000 excellent trainees so far since its foundation, enjoying a high reputation in Germany. The leaders of the group visited our college to sign an agreement for cooperation in 2023. The oversea training is intended to further the cooperation and cultivate a faculty with international perspectives, concepts of dual vocational education and capacities of localized implementation.
In accordance with the training schedule, the delegation visited HSF under Cognos International Gmbh as well as Dopfo Vocational School of Rehabilitation under Dopfer International Education Group. In the course of the well-designed special training and in-depth communication, the members of the delegation had a thorough knowledge of the operation mechanism and core advantages of the dual vocational education, and probed into the design of specialty cultivation programs and teaching process of the German dual vocational education, focusing on modules of excellent teaching in health and therapy specialty, advancement of higher education plan, lifelong learning as well as client-oriented learning, and activity-oriented teaching. The trainees shared their reflection and comprehension via class discussions and group presentations, taking advantage of what has been learned to solve problems in practice, and pondering the localized development and implementation approaches by comparing Chinese education with German education.
In Dopfer Schulen of Rehabilitation, the members observed on the spot the PNF training course of the Rehabilitation specialty, soaked themselves in the class atmosphere of German vocational education and participated in the course by some representatives to experience each of the steps of PNF techniques. From theoretical explanation to practical operation and from manual skill to patient communication, they had a better understanding of every single detail, and had a further communication and discussion on curriculum provision, teaching methods and faculty cultivation of the rehabilitation specialty.
During the exchange study, the delegation also visited the famous AMILU Rehabilitation Center, RESIDENZ am Dom Nursing Home and Sander Pflege GmbH Nursing Home in Germany. The members had a more intuitive understanding of the enterprise responsibilities and cooperation modes in the German dual vocational education through close experience, and had a deep study on their rehabilitation facilities, nursing system, concepts and technological means of the nursing service. In Sander Pflege GmbH Nursing Home, the members were greatly inspired by the common space, the environment design for multi-generation integration and the fine service processes.

In the panels with the two education groups, their vocational schools, cooperation institutions and group leaders, the delegation had a relatively thorough understanding of the specialty provision, course development and teaching modes of German vocational schools, and had a further communication on future international cooperation in school-running. In the visit, the members of the delegation have learnt advanced management modes and efficient teaching methods, updated teaching concepts and broadened international perspectives, which will have a positive influence on enhancing capacities of cultivating practical talents and promoting all-round, wide-ranging and multi-leveled international cooperation and exchange of our college.
