A Delegation from the Division of International Cooperation & Exchange of the Jiangsu Commission of Health Visited Our College for Research

On September 6, Li Yu, Director of the Division of International Cooperation & Exchange of the Jiangsu Commission of Health, Wei Pingping, Chief Staff Member, and He Hongjun, Secretary-General of the Sino-German Science and Technology Exchange Foundation and Project Leader of the German-Chinese Medical Academic Exchange Center (DCMA), along with their delegation, visited our college. They conducted in-depth research on the nursing cooperation project with Bavaria, Germany, and held a symposium. Shi Yuchang, Party Secretary of the college, Luo Xiaoqing, President, Xiao Bo, Vice President, and heads of relevant departments participated in this research activity.

During the research, Li Yu, Director of the Division of International Cooperation & Exchange of the Jiangsu Commission of Health, emphasized the importance of international cooperation in nursing education and commended the efforts made by our college in promoting the internationalization of medical education. She expressed that this symposium provided a good platform for both sides to exchange ideas and cooperate, hoping to take this opportunity to continuously improve the quality of nursing education and make greater contributions to cultivating international nursing talents.

He Hongjun, Project Leader of the German-Chinese Medical Academic Exchange Center (DCMA), provided a detailed introduction to the current status, expected goals, and challenges faced by the nursing cooperation project with Bavaria, Germany, offering valuable insights for future collaboration.

At the research meeting, Shi Yuchang, Party Secretary of our college, delivered a welcome speech to the delegation led by Director Li Yu and introduced in detail our college's development history, educational philosophy, and ongoing efforts towards international cooperation. He also expressed gratitude for the support from the German side and outlined expectations for future cooperation.

During the discussion and Q&A session, participants engaged in detailed conversations on project goals and cooperation methods, and the atmosphere was warm. Everyone expressed their hope that through this cooperation, they could further enhance the level of nursing professionalism in China and contribute to the global health cause.

During the research process, the delegation led by Director Li Yu, accompanied by our college leaders, visited the nursing training center and advanced geriatric care wards to gain a firsthand understanding of the teaching environment and conditions of our college's nursing program.

The successful conclusion of the symposium marks a solid step forward in the cooperation between our college and Bavaria, Germany, in the field of nursing education. We firmly believe that with the joint efforts of both sides, the internationalization of nursing education at our college will advance towards greater global collaboration.
