The Visit of German-Chinese Nursing Association to Our College and A New Chapter in International Nursing Cooperation
On the afternoon of September 11, a delegation from the German-Chinese Nursing Association (DCGP) visited our college. The two sides had an in-depth and fruitful dialogue on nursing education, cooperation and exchanges.
The members of the delegation visited the nursing training center and the middle and high-end elderly care training base. The delegation was deeply impressed by the modern teaching facilities and rigorous teaching atmosphere.

Afterwards, the discussion and exchange were held in Conference Room 223 of Renhe Building. Shi Yuchang, Party secretary of the college, delivered a warm welcome speech. Secretary Shi fondly recalled his first meeting with Ms. Marie-Louise Müller, President of DCGP in 2019, and expressed his desire to deepen cooperation and jointly promote the internationalization of nursing education.

Ms. Marie-Louise Müller, President of DCGP, said in her speech that although Germany and China are geographically separated by thousands of miles, once the seeds of friendship are planted, they can flourish across thousands of mountains and rivers. She stressed that through the platform of DCGP, the nursing colleagues of the two countries can be closely linked, jointly explore a new path of nursing education, and contribute to the development of nursing in the two countries and even the world.

At the meeting, the school showed its development history, school-running characteristics and international exchange results to the German side by playing an English promotional video. Dr. Jiang Qiumei, vice chairman of the DCGP, and Mr. Li Xun, the Chinese representative, introduced the cooperation projects of the association in detail, and comprehensively expounded the project operation mode and future planning of the association.

In the exchange session, the two sides carried out heated discussions on topics such as German nursing standards, cooperation mode of educational institutions, management experience of elderly care institutions, and construction of nursing and elderly care training bases. President Luo Xiaoqing gave a detailed introduction to the school's co-operation unit for elderly care, Suzhou Health and Wellness Group. Through the collision of ideas and the sharing of experience, the two sides not only enhanced their understanding of each other's nursing education systems, but also reached a number of consensus on the specific direction of future cooperation.

With the acceleration of globalization, international cooperation in nursing education has increasingly become an important force to promote the development of nursing. The visit of the German-Chinese Nursing Association has promoted the nursing community of the two countries to go hand in hand and create a better future. It is believed that with the joint efforts of both sides, the flower of China-Germany cooperation in nursing education will bloom more brightly and make greater contributions to the health and well-being of all mankind.
