Research Centre for Chinese Medicine Innovation of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University Visits Suzhou Vocational Health College

On the morning of September 28th, Research Centre for Chinese Medicine Innovation of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University visited Suzhou Vocational Health College. Experts from the Research Center, Chen Hao, Deputy Secretary-General of the Suzhou Overseas Friendship Association, Li Xiaomin, representative of the Zhou's Education Foundation from Hong Kong attended the meeting. Also present at the meeting were representatives from our college: Xiao Bo, Vice President of Suzhou Vocational Health College and member of the Party Committee, Wang Dehua, Director of the United Front Work Department, Gu Shuqin, Director of the International Cooperation and Exchange Office, Sun Zhongwen, Director of the School of Nursing (International School of Nursing), Wang Shaopin, Deputy Director of the Organization Department, Lin Qing, Vice Director of the School of Clinical Medicine, and Zhang Di, Head of the Traditional Chinese Medicine Nursing Program at the School of Nursing (International School of Nursing). The meeting was chaired by Wang Dehua.

Xiao Bo began by introducing SVHC's basic information and expressed a sincere welcome to the experts, along with high hopes for future collaboration. Chen Hao warmly welcomed the visiting experts, emphasized the importance and necessity of cooperation between the two parties and looked forward to further deepening exchanges in the future. Following this, the visiting experts shared the latest progress and future plans in their innovative research on traditional Chinese medicine. Both sides engaged in in-depth discussions on topics such as the inheritance and development of traditional Chinese medicine nursing, talent cultivation, and research collaboration.

Finally, the attending experts visited SVHC's nursing training base. The experts unanimously expressed that through this visit, they gained a deeper understanding of the unique features and advantages of SVHC in cultivating traditional Chinese medicine nursing talents, and they expressed confidence and anticipation for future collaborative prospects.
