Teacher from Our College Wins Second Prize in Jiangsu Province International Student Teaching Observation Competition

On November 3rd, the 2024 Jiangsu Province International Student Teaching Observation Competition, organized by the Foreign Student Education Management Research Committee of the Jiangsu Higher Education Association, successfully concluded at Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology. Ms. Feng Min from the Department of General Education of our college, with her outstanding teaching performance, won the second prize in this competition.

This competition aimed to enhance the quality of international student education in Jiangsu Province and promote exchanges and learning among teachers. After a rigorous selection process, 137 participating teachers successfully advanced to the semifinals. Feng Min made thorough preparations before the competition, delving deeply into the teaching content and meticulously designing her teaching plan, striving to fully demonstrate her teaching abilities within the limited time. During the competition, Ms. Feng's teaching language was lively and vivid, with a rhythmic tone that felt like a gentle spring breeze, allowing the judges to experience her approachability and teaching charm, earning unanimous praise.

The Public Basic Education Department will take this competition as an opportunity to further strengthen the construction of the Chinese language teaching faculty for international students, further promote the improvement of Chinese language teaching standards, and provide more solid support for the college’s international exchange and cooperation programs. Together, we will drive the continuous advancement of our college's international student education.
