A Delegation of Teachers from SVHC Visited Germany and Finland for Exchange and Research
At the invitation of COGNOS International and Jyväskylä University of Applied Sciences (JAMK), Vice President of Suzhou Vocational Health College (SVHC), Xiao Bo, led a delegation to Germany and Finland from November 24 to November 30.
The delegation visited the German COGNOS International and Adlersh of High-tech Industrial Park, and held talks with Mr. Timo, the group's director of operations, and Mr. Alexander, the project director. Xiao Bo introduced the talent training and international cooperation of SVHC, and Mr. Timo introduced the operation mode of dual vocational education in Germany and the mechanism of school-enterprise cooperation. Both sides affirmed the effectiveness of cooperation since 2023 and plan to expand new areas of cooperation in terms of student exchange visits and academic qualifications. The members of the group visited the university library, new media studio, student activity room and other places under the group, and experienced the learning atmosphere and management culture of the school on the spot.
In Finland, the delegation was warmly received by Dr. Ma Pei'en, Director of JAMK University of Applied Sciences; Ms. Bai Mary, Director of Degree Programs; and Mr. He Xiang, Head of the China Cooperation Project. The two parties discussed cooperation on long-term teacher training and student exchanges, and signed a new memorandum of understanding. Xiao Bo delivered an engaging lecture on traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) culture to JAMK's faculty and students. He also interacted with students from multiple countries, providing them with TCM-based health consultation.
During the exchange, the delegation highlighted the "The ‘Wumen Medicine’International Dissemination Base of Suzhou Vocational Health College" as a key feature. They promoted the YES project undertaken by the Ministry of Education's International Affairs Office and extended a warm welcome to young students from the partner schools in Germany and Finland to join our school's cultural exchange programs.

The delegation traveled to three locations in Germany and Finland to gain an in-depth understanding of the two countries' medical-related talent-training programs. They also showcased our school's long-standing cultural heritage and achievements in talent cultivation to the partner institutions. This successful visit has effectively promoted the school's international cooperation and exchanges in a comprehensive, extensive, and multi-level manner.
