3 Gold, 1 Silver, and 1 Bronze! Our Students Achieve Outstanding Results at the 19th Jiangsu Provincial College Student Career Planning Competition
From March 1 to 2, the Second National College Student Career Planning Competition (Jiangsu Division) , also known as the 19th Jiangsu Provincial College Student Career Planning Competition, was held at Nanjing University of Science and Technology. Under the theme "Building Dreams in Youth, Planning for the Future", the event attracted 704,000 participants from 163 universities and colleges across the province, with 246 finalists advancing to the provincial finals. Four students from our college qualified for the finals. After intense competition and outstanding presentations, three students—Zhang Tong (School of Public Health), Wei Jiaqi (School of Optometry and Ophthalmology), and Tu Enyun (School of Pharmacy)—won gold medals in the Vocational Education Group’s Employment Track. Su Xintong (School of Nursing) secured a silver medal in the Vocational Education Group’s Growth Track. Additionally, three faculty members—Li Linyang (School of Public Health), Shi Danyan (School of Optometry and Ophthalmology), and Yang Yulin (School of Pharmacy)—were awarded "Outstanding Instructor" titles. Wang Xinyao (School of Clinical Medicine) earned a bronze medal in the provincial online review.


Suzhou Vocational Health College places great emphasis on career planning and entrepreneurship education for students, adopting multifaceted measures to guide students in establishing proper career values and enhancing their employability. Upholding the principle of "promoting teaching, learning, and employment through competitions", SVHC leverages the exemplary and educational value of such events to drive high-quality graduate employment. During the competition, college leaders provided on-site guidance multiple times, while the Admissions and Career Office and secondary colleges organized expert-led training and simulated question-and-answer drills to refine the quality of entries.
Moving forward, SVHC will continue to prepare diligently for the National College Student Career Planning Competition, striving for further breakthroughs.
